Quick post

It's been forever since I last posted. I've been too busy doing things to actually have the time to blog about them, but I really would like to get into blogging more often this year--especially since I'm 16,000 words away from FINALLY attaining my Master's Degree. Anyway, what prompted this blog is something I wrote that I need to save for posterity and it basically just sums up how I feel about my place in the workforce these days.

In life, there are always going to be people who are smarter than you, as well as those who are less smart than you. And usually it’s the ones who are less smart than you who happen to make more money than you and have a higher position than you who rely on YOU—the smarter one—to provide the intelligence and knowledge needed for them to do their job. You feel helpless that there really isn't anything you can do about it, so you have to be grateful you have a job that enables you to provide for yourself and have a roof over your head.
